For buyers

Name the requirement. I go and find it.

I work as a confidential extension of your buying team — not a supplier selling from a shelf. I search out the plant, verify it, introduce it and stay with the commercial conversation on your behalf, from the first brief to the loaded container.

International sourcing and quality coordination

The buyer path

Start with the specification.
Protect the commercial detail.

Every search begins with context. A precise brief improves relevance, comparison and communication through the whole process — and it stays confidential throughout.

01

The buyer brief

Product, specification, format, destination, expected volume and commercial priorities. A precise brief is the single biggest driver of a good outcome.

02

Origin & supplier search

Relevant producers are identified across the origins that fit the requirement — Brazil, Poland or Denmark for poultry, South America for beef, the North Atlantic and Türkiye for seafood — and verification is coordinated to the level the risk deserves. For Torrié coffee in Germany and Türkiye the search is already done: NorthBridge is the brand’s general sales agent.

03

Comparison & negotiation

Offers are structured into a comparable matrix — specification, packing, documentation, incoterms and landed cost — so trade-offs are explicit before the commercial position is represented.

04

Documentation & delivery coordination

Contracts, health certificates, labelling and shipping documents are followed through with both sides until the goods move — and the lessons feed the next shipment.

What you actually receive

Working outputs,
not vague promises.

A buyer engagement is structured around tangible deliverables — the working documents that make a sourcing decision defensible in front of your own management and auditors.

01

Structured sourcing brief

The requirement translated into a document a plant can actually quote against — cut, trim, calibre, packing, documentation and destination rules.

02

Origin & supplier shortlist

A reasoned shortlist with plant approvals, certifications and export eligibility checked for the destination market — not a directory dump.

03

Comparable offer matrix

Quotations normalised to one format so price, spec and terms can be compared line by line, with landed-cost context where freight matters.

04

Negotiation support

A fact-based commercial position argued with care — on price, but also on payment terms, claims handling and continuity.

05

Contract & documentation follow-through

Specifications, contracts and export paperwork aligned between buyer, plant and forwarder before and after signature.

06

Shipment & claims coordination

Loading schedules, inspections and any quality claims handled directly, so problems are managed — not discovered.

Before you write

A strong brief includes:

Not everything is known at the start — that is normal. But the more of this list the first message covers, the faster the first real options arrive.

  • Product and full specification — cut, trim, calibre, glazing or fat limits
  • Volume, frequency and target start date
  • Destination market, port and import requirements
  • Packaging, labelling and language requirements
  • Certification needs — halal, BRC/IFS, MSC, organic
  • Target price window and preferred incoterms
Confidential by default.

Requirements, supplier conversations and commercial positions are handled with care and discretion. I never publish buyer identities, volumes or negotiations — and never use one client’s information to work another.
